author visits
are a great way to inspire kids to write and read. Tania can come to your school for a fabulously fun reading and talk. She has read books, made presentations and spoken to schools all over Beijing and around Canberra and interstate. If you would like to organise a visit to your school, email for more information (visits include the best folded paper aeroplane ever invented) or you can book through Ford Street's CreativeNet.
Tania was visiting author for Book Week in Beijing in 2008, and a Children's Book Council of Australia visiting author in the ACT in 2009, 2010 and 2011. She is a National Year of Reading 2012 ambassador for the ACT.
She has also spoken and presented to both small and large groups of adults (not as much fun as little groups of kids, of course). To view a full list of all the events she has participated in, see here, pronto! Email if you'd like to learn more.
